We started The Unlisted because the word “luxury” barely means anything online anymore — every booking site promises it, and few deliver. So we research every place in depth, score it transparently on the Unlisted Index, and tell you honestly what's worth it and what's overrated. First-hand stays are always labelled separately.

The editorial team
Behind every rating are independent travel editors, not an algorithm. We know the destinations we cover, and the stays marked “We slept here” we've visited in person. If there's a place you think we should know about, tell us — we love a good tip.
