We started The Unlisted because the word “luxury” barely means anything online anymore — every booking site promises it, and few deliver. So we do it the old-fashioned way: we stay in the places we rate, score them transparently on the Unlisted Index, and tell you honestly what's worth it and what's overrated.

The editorial team
Behind every rating are independent travel editors, not an algorithm. We know the destinations we cover, and the stays marked “We slept here” we've visited in person. If there's a place you think we should know about, tell us — we love a good tip.

When you book through a link on The Unlisted, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We also offer hotels paid placement and partner perks — always clearly labelled. None of it can buy an Unlisted Index score, which is editorial and independent.
