Swedish Lapland: good to know

When is the Icehotel open?

The seasonal ice hotel is built each winter and opens from December to April. Icehotel 365, with its ice suites and ice bar, is open all year.

How do you get to Swedish Lapland?

Fly from Stockholm to Luleå for Harads, or to Kiruna for Jukkasjärvi. Night trains from Stockholm run to both.

Can you combine Harads and Jukkasjärvi?

Yes. They are about three and a half hours apart by car; a few nights in each gives the river, the forest and the ice.
