You want the sea, nightlife or a quick stroll into town — this is deliberately remote and quiet.
Take the morning yoga, book a room with a private whirlpool, and eat at the garden-led Roots restaurant.
The rooms
Twenty-five individually styled rooms and suites with stone walls, beams, natural textures and calming neutral tones; many open to terraces over the mountains, and some have fireplaces or private whirlpools. Adults-only, 5-star, a member of Meliá Collection.
The setting
On a private estate of more than 250 hectares around Puig Galatxo, high in the Serra de Tramuntana (a UNESCO site), wrapped in rocky peaks and Mediterranean forest. A pool, a strong spa and daily complimentary yoga and relaxation classes set the slow-living mood.
The food
Three restaurants led by Roots, where the focus is organic, seasonal Mallorcan cooking with much of the produce grown on the estate; breakfast, brunch and al-fresco dinners all make the most of the setting.
Getting there
About 30 minutes from Palma airport but it feels far removed — the final approach is a mountain road. A car is recommended; parking and EV charging on site.
Good to know
Adults-only, remote and wellness-led — the point is to disconnect, not to pop into town. Just 25 rooms, so it books out; spring and autumn are glorious for hiking from the door.
