The verdict
A former 18th-century monastery turned sharp, design-led country hotel just outside Pollença, with a serious kitchen, a spa and gardens under the northern Tramuntana. A grown-up rural base for Mallorca's lovely north.

You want to walk to a beach or a town — it's a rural estate a short drive from Pollença.
Book the tasting menu at 365 restaurant, and explore Pollença's old town and the Formentor peninsula nearby.
The rooms
Around 25 rooms and suites inside a converted Jesuit monastery and farm buildings, where centuries-old stone meets clean contemporary design; calm dark-and-light interiors, many opening to the gardens and orchards. Some suites have private terraces.
The setting
On a country estate just outside Pollença in Mallorca's north, with gardens, an orchard, a pool and a spa under the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana. Pollença's old town, the Formentor peninsula and the north-coast beaches are a short drive.
The food
The 365 restaurant is the centrepiece — modern Mallorcan tasting menus built on the estate's own and local produce — backed by a strong cellar; a more relaxed daytime option uses the gardens.
Getting there
About 50 minutes from Palma airport. A car is essential for the north and Formentor; parking on site. The port and beaches of Pollença are 10–15 minutes.
Good to know
Design-led, food-focused and grown-up — better for couples than families with young children. The north is quieter than the south; spring and autumn are ideal. Book the restaurant ahead.
