The verdict
A neoclassical building of 1915, once the headquarters of a paper company, restored by Antonio Obrador and opened as a hotel in 2014. It kept its marble staircase, the old lift and the stained glass, and its 78 rooms sit around a sunny inner courtyard. The spa in the cellar has a 12-metre pool. It holds a MICHELIN Key.

You want to walk out into the old centre: it is a short taxi or metro ride away.
