Wine Estates

Sleep where the wine is made

Houses that make their own wine, and sit at the very top of their category. Every estate here has its own vineyard and bottles its own wine. Nine of them hold a MICHELIN Key; the other three, all quintas on the Douro, earn their place with 95 or more on the Unlisted Index. Five hold three Keys, the Guide's highest distinction: Terra Dominicata in the Priorat, Abadía Retuerta on the Duero, Torre del Marqués in the Matarraña, and Castiglion del Bosco and Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany. The rest range from a Frank Gehry landmark in Rioja to quintas above the Douro. Hotels that simply look over someone else's vines are not included.

13 stays, each scored out of 100 across five pillars.
